With Black Friday upon us, I finally picked up my next build:

AMD Ryzen 1800x processor
Asrock AB350 Pro4 motherboard
32gbs (4x8gbs) Patriot Viper Elite Series DDR4 2666MHz
Samsung 850 EVO SSD 250gbs (For Operation System)
Toshiba X300 5TBS Hard Drive (For storage)

The only parts carrying over is the DVD drive and GTX 680 video card. The GTX 680 is still plenty powerful for the limited gaming that I do.

The Ryzen does not come with a CPU cooler which is fine as I will be reusing my Noctua NH-C14 CPU Cooler. Noctua is sending me an AMD4 mounting kit free.

Even with the sale prices, I still got raped on the DDR4. #Cussing out The 32gbs of ram cost almost the same as the processor.

Hopefully, I will have it up and running in the next few days.

Finally got the kit in from Noctua, they're based in Austria. My NH-C14 HSF came out before AM4 but they have adapter kits.

Noctua knows how to take care of their customers, they send kits to their customers free of charge.

Took many hours of hair pulling to figure out something I should have read up on before I started. Windows 7 is NOT supported by by Ryzen. In any case, after figuring out the work around to installation, it's finally up. 16 threads.

The computer case I planned to use is too small for the Noctua heatsink...
I just ordered a new one which should arrive tomorrow.
I've to wait before starting up the beast. Yellow Evil
