If you are looking to get a badge out of PrimeGrid now would be the time to get it over with. No idea if they are talking about finishing in days or months.

Is probably going to be by the end of Oct by my guess, though it may depend on what the comparison of SoB LLR versus GPU Sieve runtimes are.
I have Gold already -but no chance of racking up another 1M credits on that timescale. |

PG has a thread going now. The date might be Oct 13. The project started 10/13/07 so that is why the date. Not set in stone but the latest from PG. |

Sure, but past experience says they'll clean up any current reservations before it's totally gone. Personally, I think it's at (or beyond) optimal for CPU, but less clear for GPU, but it doesn't really matter because it can easily be started up again later.
(I expect to get gold in TRP Sieve before the end of the challenge, and in PSP LLR sometime during challenge cleanup phase) |
