Been upgrading or should I say trying to upgrade everything to CAT6 in the house. Too hot to crawl in the attic to pull cable, I guess I sit back and have a few cold ones until it cools down.
Have fun. _________________

OK. I'm back home now... with some work to do in the house...
The house is now entirely wired with 16 F/FTP Cat6a and 3 F/UTP Cat6 outlets.
9 of them are in my informatic room.
All these are plugged into a netgear GS724T Gigabit switch. _________________ Have fun and sport ! |

Sounds good which reminds me that I need to build a T&E room so that I can centralize the connections. I have a spool of left over CAT5e from when I originally wired the house years ago that will be perfect for redoing my phone lines with. Got a 1,000 foot roll of CAT6 which I will use for building a gigabit network and video streaming network (HDMI over ethernet). _________________
