I sold my 8-core xeon box today. I wanted to get rid of it while it still had some value. Now I'm in the market for something newer and faster. I can pick up an i7 930 set up with the money I got today. What do you guys think? _________________

Seems to be a good choice.
With Hyper threading you'll have 10 to 30% more results when crunching.
Core i7 architecture is even more efficient than core2. Go for it.
Unfortunately there is actually no real challenger in the AMD world... _________________ Have fun and sport ! |
