I switched my country flag to Barbados today (where I was born) for S@H.....
Why toy with individuals or teams when one can screw with entire countries....
Next countries I intend to knock down a few notches... well just go watch the list

Grrrr... Had to change the network password yesterday morning, and I forgot to update the login information for nearly half my fleet... what a pain in the ass going around to fix all the service settings today...
My output is going to suck today... Doubt I'll get more than 18K WUs out.. (okay suck is admittedly relative here) |

That's why BOINC isn't easy to maintain for a work fleet...
Using a proxy and pointing all the client to the proxy is really easier !
You just have to change the parameters on the proxy.
You can do this with OGR. And that's why I'm crunching OGR at work. ;)
You just have to setup an OGR proxy on your personnal machine and point the clients to the proxy and you're done.
I could help you setting this if interested. |

no no the account I have the service installed on for security reasons needed a password changed or the service wouldn't start after a reboot . The thing I like I about Boinc is I didn't have to screw with my firewall.. I hate that dnet used a wonky port out of the gate |

With a DNet proxy you can use the port you want.
The team proxy (polo.sytes.net), for example, is using both standard DNet port (2064) and HTTPS port (443). |

Polo,
I'm going to play around with a spare machine I have at work to see how it goes, but if it goes well you'll likely be getting some support on OGR.
